The rumor says that Bethany and Michael met only a few months before their wedding and that he proposed to her two months after their first date. If it is true, it seems that they were sure about their feelings because five years later, they are still together and more happy than ever. According to InStyle Wedding (April 2006), Michael's ring did not fit and they had to do a last-minute trip to change it. Bethany is the same ! Just before going down the aisle, she realized she did not have a bouquet. Her and her friend/planner, Erin Sweatt, put together a mix of peach, pink and white roses The couple married in Hillsboro (Oregon), not far from Battle Ground, in front of 75 guests. Music ? Guests danced at Bethany's own Ipod. Original, but so Joy ! Bethany said herself : 'It was better than anything I could have imagined'.
Five years later, Michael and Bethany are the happiest couple on Earth. Bethany has been pretty well accepted by the Galeotti family. They even opened a family restaurant, 'Galeotti's Restaurant', in Battle Ground (where they all live). In August 2010, there was a rumor telling that Bethany Joy was pregnant, but nobody admited it. We had to wait until a drama to know it. In November 2010, someone hacked Bethany's messenger account where could be found her ultrasound picture. Coping with this privacy attempt, she said on her blog that, yes, she was pregnant. In February 2011, the Galeotti family counted another member. Bethany and Michael announced the news on Joy's official blog. Maria Rose Galeotti was born. Since her birth, she has made her parents happier than ever.
